Hakuoki In the West and Why we need Sweet School Life.

I was browsing Amazon yesterday and found this beauty. Out in the UK on May 7th it's just £37 and only available as a special edition. It'll probably be cheaper as a download only on PSN but while the box is available...why not?
Stories of the Shinsengumi is the translation of Hakuouki Junsouroku  for PS3 and includes the fan disk extras of Zuisouroku. One of which leads into a game that we REALLY REALLY REALLY want.

If you're intending to get Stories of Shinsengumi and want to enjoy the extra for sweet school life then please skip the video and read on below. For everyone else, someone subbed the vids.

Remember part 2 is on the right hand side if you follow it through to youtube.

On March 27th a game slipped out onto the PSvita called Hakuouki Sweet School Life.
Like the short above they took a fan project and ran with it turning it into a fully fledged vita game.

The shinsengumi are now in modern day Japan and the protagonist is thrown into the midst of an all boys school. I found a wordpress  that has images from the game and her own opinions prior to release.
Also you can visit the main site for some lovely wallpapers and if you visit the gallery there are some fantastic CG's. Finally you can date the red haired guy...must replay...YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Let us hope that the release of Stories of the Shinsengumi is a sign we will get this afterwards because I have a vita on a Japanese account and I'm 5 minutes away from giving in and buying it for the hell of it off psn or if you prefer a hard copy you can get them from Nippon-yasan.
They aren't a large company so they are slow getting your item into the post but they are the most reliable company I have ever shopped with. If you pay for a registered airmail it often comes by EMS.
Remember Vita's are region free and they are getting better, especially for these kinds of niche games.

Go give Aksys your love if you want it too as they are responsible for the rest of the releases and are rolling around in Hakuoki money.
